Following the description of the 13 Elements of Writing, you will see a Plot Mountain. This a visual of how the elements are introduced and build within a story.

Note: This site is a model and meant for students to view as they develop their websites explaining how the 17 Elements of Writing are used in the book Maroo of the Winter Caves. The Wizard of Oz was selected to be used as the model since most young students have seen the movie and remember the scenes. For those students who have not, you will see links to short video clips from the Wizard of Oz on each of the web pages referencing where the writing element was used in the movie.
Enjoy!
