Understanding Styles

Every HTML element has a default style (background color is white and text color is black). Changing the default style of an HTML element, can be done with the Style Attribute. Below are some examples of how Styles are used to format text.

So, why use Styles instead of regular HTML? Because many of the tags in regular HTML are being phased out and replaced with Styles!
